After accidentally dropping my beloved RazerBlade 15 (purchased in March 2022), the battery expanded, leaving it noticeably tilted and causing Windows startup issues. Aaron efficiently resolved both problems, not only replacing the battery but also installing and optimizing an additional SSD. My laptop was functional before, it now performs amazingly thanks to his work. For around $200 and a three-day turnaround (it would have been faster, we were delayed only by my battery order), Aaron delivered excellent service. I finally feel like I am getting the most out of my computer. So yea...if you value clear communication, rapid turnaround, and top-notch work from a dependable small business owner, he's your guy. If not, go waste your money on the GeekSquad or whatever. ~ Tim H

In 2020, I was ready to buy a new gaming PC for around $1,500. I was looking at a Dell Alienware setup, and I found Aaron’s ad on Craigslist. I asked him what he thought of the PC, and he instantly instilled confidence that he could build me a much better PC for my budget. He worked with my aesthetic preferences and built me a PC that was ready to go within a few days of paying for the parts. Since then, Aaron has been my IT guy any time I need something computer related, whether for my personal needs or for my business. I trust him to work in my business without the need for supervision and he always charged a fair price. He often goes beyond what I expected, and doesn’t charge me extra if the job takes a little longer than normal. I contacted Aaron for advise and possibly an estimate for upgrading my outdated desktop. I'm not illiterate concerning computer usage, but at my age (80+), I'm generations behind having much competency in problem solving regarding current systems. Aaron solved the entire situation for me by introducing me to a new perspective of it and guided me through the whole process of putting together a completely manageable setup that exactly meets my needs. I was having problems with my gaming pc of 2.5 years, it kept crashing every time I opened up games like god of war, hogwarts legacy, and warzone. I tried to fix the issue myself but couldn’t figure out what was causing the issue. After searching for pc repair places for a day or two I found dazzotek and took it over to them. I picked up my pc the exact same day and they also diagnosed my pc within the first 10 minutes I was there. After using it for 2 weeks I can confidently say it feels like as good as when I first got it and runs every single game flawlessly. I 100% recommend any gamer having pc issues to take it to dazzotek for a fast and affordable fix. For anybody interested the problem with my pc was cooling. ~ noe h

This guy, I put my computer away for a couple of years. Of course it didn't have the software I needed any more and that caused hardware issues. I tried to get everything working, and this guy, he put everything I needed in the OS without hesitation. Quick response time, knowledgeable, and not expensive. With the upgrade he did my computer runs faster, more clear and has everything it needs to work for good time longer. I fully recommend this guy. I completly expected my computer to not opperate again and it works now. With that said he was honest about the fact that it may or may work, but was confident in his skills, believed he could make the computer opperate and had success with it. I originally hired Aaron to repair my primary laptop. He fixed the laptop in less than 10 minutes and only charged me for the 10 minutes of his time - a very modest amount for an invaluable service. I then hired Aaron to build my dream computer. He built it in a week, for about 20% of the total cost of buying it already made from a name brand vendor, and he installed it. Aaron helped me troubleshoot issues that came up as a result of my requesting he use an old SSD card. My dream computer is fully functioning with 2 standard monitors and 1 touchscreen monitor plus all of the RAM, memory storage, and port connections I need for my art-related business. Aaron listened to my needs, gave me cost options, delivered on time and within budget, was professional, and is an absolute delight to work with. After using the same laptop for 7+ years I was ready to upgrade to a modern computer, and I contacted Aaron through Craigslist for assistance. He was extremely helpful in providing feedback for my expected build. He often asked me insightful questions about the parts I had chosen and the use cases I had for my future system. Much of what he shared was filled with a strong knowledge of the computer industry and various manufacturers worth considering. He often explained what he was saying through historical examples or links to videos that provided context for his statements. I was very impressed by this, and never felt rushed prior to scheduling for him to build my PC. When it was done, I was blown away by its performance! I came to Portland for the weekend, and my mini PC started giving me blue screen errors. I happened to scroll down through the local technicians on google, and read a blog on the Dazzotek website. After reading, I had little doubt Aaron was the person to consult to fix my blue screen issues. I dropped off my PC, and he had it done by the time i finished my lunch. No more blue screens, even several days later. The service was super affordable and quick. If you have computer needs, I can say with confidence, Aaron is the guy to contact first. I have purchased 2 PCs and have loved them both. First one was just a basic beginner PC for my first gaming PC. Then 2 years later I upgraded and got all that I’ll need for at least 5 years. I got a call maybe an hour after I inquired and we went through everything I wanted since I have little knowledge of components. It runs all the games I want amazingly. I also referred my friend and he also loves his new PC. On top of it all it was a great price, gave me all the warranties for the parts and even helped me sell my old rig for a small additional cost. Easy to say I’ll be referring more friends and when I need another upgrade I wouldn’t go anywhere else! ~ Talon S

I was originally about to order a PC from Micro Center since Aaron (the owner of Dazzotek) recommended them, but after he explained the cost differences and the quality of the components, I ended up having him build me a custom PC instead of going with a pre-built. My new setup gets more than double the FPS compared to my old one, and I actually saved around $300 compared to the pre-built I was considering. He shipped it out to me and it arrived within a few days. When I needed help setting things up, he responded right away, and I had everything up and running in about 30 minutes. I hired Aaron to help me build a new gaming rig. He helped me hunt for parts that fit my aesthetic and budget. He found great deals on certain parts, and convinced me to spend more on others that will increase my computer's longevity. I like to think I'm a pretty tech-savvy guy, but I was impressed with his level of knowledge. He knew which motherboard brands worked well with AMD CPUs, which CPU coolers had the best cooling, and how to arrange different types of case fans so that they made the least noise. His biggest selling point has got to be cable management, it's much tidier than what I'd be able to do and should make future maintenance much easier. Once the PC was together, Aaron helped me overclock the GPU, and tune the fan curves until they were silent at idle, and barely noticeable under load. At the end of the day, my PC looks and performs even better than I'd hoped. I can't recommend Dazzotek enough. ~ Milo M

Aaron was absolutely awesome. Very knowledgeable, kind, truly cared about helping me. My computer monitors weren't posting and turns out the CPU receptor on the motherboard was blown out. I searched for multiple computer repair people in Portland and I can assure you Aaron is by far the BEST. Not only did he fix my problem, but fixed my rig's entire air flow that i bought prebuilt through Ibuypower (will go through Dazzotek next time). This guy's a beast and truly deserves your business. Great computer, great to work with. I hired Aaron to help assemble a gaming rig with pieces I already purchased. He reviewed my parts list and suggested improvements, and when I realized I forgot to order a part (after I had delivered the parts to Aaron), he worked with me to find a suitable replacement. I've been using my pc for a few weeks and it is fantastic, I'm very happy with the results. Aaron was fantastic to work with, focused on the tech and his customers. Highly recommend for any computer repairs or builds. Clearly knows his stuff. He ran a diagnostic on my pc, pinpointed the issues and made a game plan all within about an hour with me. Aaron went above and beyond. He made sure that during the diagnostic he explained why what parts needed changed out on my pc and what options were best. Aaron has been my computer guru since the Covid pandemic. I had an old laptop I tried to use for Zoom calls and remote work. It would turn on but the screen was black. I thought it would cost a lot more time and money than it did. He fixed my black screen problem and made my laptop less noisy in the process. He charged less than $100 for the service and he made me laugh even though I was stressed out at the time. Like many others, I can’t say enough about Aaron at Dazzotek’s fantastic computer knowledge, skills and service. He was very responsive to my initial phone call and listened carefully to my computer issues ( failing desktop for home use that needed upgrade or replacement). He made well-reasoned recommendations for a new system, was transparent about pricing, helped w ordering process, build, install and even put SSD in my old set up to use as secondary. He was very conscientious about the transfer of all my data. He set me up w Windows 11 and made sure that my new computer was customized in a user friendly way according to my preferences. He helped me install all the programs I needed and made sure that everything was ready to go (remote print, scan, speakers, email, bookmarks, short cuts, Office, etc) before he finished the job. He went out of his way to not just provide new hardware, but to make sure that my transition to a new computer was thoroughly executed and basically seamless. Aaron is freaking awesome! We went to him to purchase my teenagers pc, and he just blew us away. He’s a wealth of knowledge, spent a ton of time explaining all the intricacies to my teen (and us parents too), and best of all: he takes pride in his passion… it’s evident. I had a great experience with him - I dropped off my PC in the afternoon and it was ready by the next morning! I personally built my PC although I myself am not a tech person, whereas Aaron was super helpful in letting me know what needed improvement on my build and even gave recommendations on long term issues. He repaired my PC and for very cheap too! My build was rather expensive and so I was expecting an expensive fix, but for less than 100 dollars (75) Aaron really helped me out! I came to him thinking my laptop had a software issue, but it also turned out to be a hardware problem, and he caught it right away. This laptop had been sitting in storage for almost a year because I thought it was beyond saving. Was in the market for a full upgrade with a gpu swap from system to system. Aaron and I spent about an hour on the phone during the consultation and I left with an entire gameplan for my new rig. Within 2 weeks of ordering the parts and communicating with Aaron, he did a last minute house call and got me my new pc as well as thoroughly cleaned my gpu to look brand new with the rest of my system. Did amazing work on my gaming rig went from Black screens and constant Reboots to 160 FPS. Re-thermaled my GPU and took parts from my old CPU cooler and integrated them into the new build making her a beast once again. it only took a day to get it back too me.with consistent updates on the status of the build, and overall a great customer service experience. Best part was i gave a number for a budget and everything stuck to said budget ~ seth f

My pc stopped connecting to my monitor and I was also to call and get advice that evening, it ended up being more complex so I dropped off my pc at the next morning 12 and he had it fixed by 4 and was able pick it back up same day.
